I created this image after watching movie "Pandorum".

I think it is highly underrated movie!

Personally i loved it, very cool story with great execution.
I missed this type of sci-fi movies)

Anyway, this is my vision of life on fallen ship)

Hope you like it!

I agree with you. I felt it was one of the most well-direct and organized sci-fi movie of the 2000s, and so much better than other sci-fi movies around that same time. Thanks for showing it some appreciation!

Воспользовались остатками корабля в качестве базы? ПОчему бы тогда корабль не делать модульным и не сбрасывать по частям на поверхность, как в Альфе Центавра? (Была такая игра Сида Мейера, " логическое продолжение" Цивилизации)

Pandorum was pretty good.
That looks more like Dwarven stuff from the elder scrolls, though (especially after skyrim)

Underrated indeed. The name of the ship does have some meaning to it. I wrote a full out thesis on it if your interested in reading.

Pandorum was like a hybrid of a Titan EA, 1213, and a bunch of Paul Anderson (it's producer) films like Event Horizon, Resident Evil, Alien vs Predator, and Mortal Kombat. That some how worked.

I seriously face palm when people cry out I am Legend, Descent, Ridley Scott's Alien, and Dead Space rip off.

Like seriously. The critics couldn't make the obvious connection?

i won`t disagree with you.

it might look like something else,

Speaking of "Elysium". I found out something VERY interesting about it. Go to tv trope on the Pandorum page and look under "homage". My jaw dropped when I found out.

I quite liked that movie, even though I watched half of it behind my hands. Your work is beautiful. The ship glistens in the light, and you've executed it with a few sure strokes. Also loving the limited palette.

I totally 100% agree with you. It is so cool! First thriller, then horror and so in the end brain twist with a psychological message that question the morality of humanity and our life style. And I have only seen it once... YET!
Another good movie that you would probably like then (also terribly underrated) is "Equilibrium" aka "The Cube" (not the gory horror movie), with Dominic Purcell, Christian Bale and Sean Bean. The movie is by Kurt Wimmer. Well, search it on IMDB or something. A most watch.

Pandorum for ever! :ninjabattle: (And also Equilibrium)

Ah man, your work always impresses me so much :D I simply love the depth and atmosphere of this. And it's nice to see a sci-fi piece that looks hopeful, positive and warm. I totally want to be in that place. Inspiring stuff

There is only one thing that bothers me a little, and that is the rock in the foreground ... it looks as if you used a texture there...which in itself is not bad, but since you did that only in that one place, it sticks out to me, even though it should not be the focus. But hey, I'm nitpicking :D As always, great work!
