Just desided to share with you the close-ups of my "Welcome to 2010" piece.

After i finish my paintings, i look at them, trying to analyse where i did well, or where i failed.

So here it is.

I like the 3rd from the top, especially the guy walking away, he seems to be freezing)

Your sense of scale with these images is just perfect.

What I want to know is how you create the sense of atmosphere in your pieces. There's this slight blur covering the entire image, softening all the edges and there are dust particles too. How did you do all that?

Got any links to your work process? Do you have any videos like that?

the blur is probably the lens correction effect in photoshop.

i really like the artificial blurr effect. hypernaturalistic scenes tend to look sterile and this is a good way around that fact - not that it wouldn't be amazing without it.

Great job friend,
The lighting with the glare off the snow is superb!
Not that it needs it particularly,but is there an official storyline to go with this image?
